Showing Your Card on Entry
In order to abide by licensing requirements, please flash your membership card to the reception team upon entry
If a team member of the club requests photo identification or proof of age, be flattered and flash us some valid photo identification – Driver’s License, 18+ Card or Passport. Even if you are a member, you may be asked to produce photo identification. Please remember that when visiting us, you need to have both photo identification and your membership card. Otherwise, we may have to refuse you entry or service at our bars, and we don’t like ruining your day.
Sandgate RSL practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Patrons who are unduly intoxicated, demonstrating disorderly conduct or other behaviours listed in the RSA guidelines will be either refused entry, refused service and / or asked to leave. We take this part very seriously to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our members and guests.
Sandgate RSL practices the Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG). We are committed to ethical and responsible behaviour that recognizes the importance of our members’ and patrons’ wellbeing with a focus of minimizing the potential harm of gambling.
Whilst the majority of people game responsibly, a small percentage of people may experience difficulties associated with their gaming behaviours.
We ensure our staff are trained with the skills and knowledge to identify problem gamblers and offer assistance and advice to those customers, and their family and friends.
The Club also offers free, confidential service providing information and referrals for professional counselling.
